Cancer Screening Guidelines
home > health care services > cancer screening > guidelines

There have been many recent advances in the fight against breast cancer, especially in prevention among high-risk women and treatment in those already diagnosed with the disease. Studies show that maintaining a healthy lifestyle and detecting the cancer in its early stages are of great importance. A healthy lifestyle includes good habits for diet and exercise, eliminating tobacco, using sunscreen, and having routine health exams.

Knowing and following the following screening guidelines may aid in early detection. However, these guidelines are based on age. Please check with your health care provider as these guidelines may be modified according to your own and your family's health history.
